Both debates will be held at The Helene Fortunoff Theater, Monroe Lecture Center, California Avenue, South Campus.
The Cambridge Union Society (affiliated with Cambridge University, UK) is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious student debating societies, as well as a registered charity. The society’s defense of free speech and ongoing belief in participatory democracy commits its
members to promoting these values in the wider community – particularly in schools, universities and local communities throughout the UK and in other parts of the world. The two debates at Hofstra University will feature combined Cambridge-Hofstra undergraduate teams.
